WELCOME!

Human Behavior Systemics is the best thing I have found, and built, in decades of research and work: with satisfaction and a bit of pride I present in these pages some aspects of it, with the aim of helping those who are looking for a better, effective and understandable way, to obtain a satisfactory quality of the professional life and the everyday life.

I think it is reassuring to know that Systemic is not an absolute novelty, its elements have been collected and gradually put in place over the course of over half a century, coming, in recent times, to assume a stable and recognizable design: it is a discipline, an area of human knowledge, which has the right to present itself as a scientific discipline.

For better or worse, human knowledge is still divided into Natural Sciences and Moral Sciences: Human Behavior Systemics is a Natural Science, being able, reasonably, to guarantee what Moral Sciences cannot guarantee, that is, the achievement of stable and repeatable results in the face of goals.

Human Behavior Systemics, just like any other Natural Sciences, allows to formulate predictions, to find a way to transform a goal into a result, and/or to rigorously identify the factors that make not possible to obtain the expected result, BEFORE this is proven in fact.

Just like we can predict that, when patiently building a right triangle, holding two segments 10 centimeters long at right angle, the longer side will measure just over 14 centimeters… and that we will not be able to complete the work if we have three segments of 10 centimeters.

Just like any Natural Science, Human Behavior Systemics recognizes and accepts identifiable and describable limits to the heuristic value of any predictions and foresights that can be formulated: probability and degree of correlation constitute the two main coordinates used to estimate the truth value of the elements that, at the same time, constitute the distinctive knowledge of this discipline and the predictions that can be formulated when this knowledge is used to obtain the solution to a problem.

Just like it is highly likely that we will get a clear rejection by asking a stranger, very well dressed, to give us the magnificent coat he wears, or it is highly unlikely that we will get a harsh rebuke from one of our best friends when giving him a small gift... predictions that can however be transformed into a low probability by correlations with other elements, in the first case our holding and showing a big gun, in the second when formerly having heavily criticized and insulted (for good, of course) our best friend for hours, making him furious.

So far everything is relatively simple, what you find in these pages is simple and complex at the same time:  in order to use Human Behavior Systemics to our advantage we will necessarily have to become familiar and get used to seeing in what we observe, in what happens to us, an articulated network of connections between elements.

We are systems, we are biological machines consisting of systems, of systems consisting of systems, in constant and continuous interaction with environments, i.e., systems, elements of larger systems: our interaction with our environments is guided, regulated, supported by codes, mainly, not exclusively, neural codes.

System here indicates an identifiable and relatively stable set of elements, within which there are connections between its elements, set that has overdeterminations and underdeterminations (I know, it looks like an abracadabra, it is not, it takes time and work to unravel each thread), in constant, uninterrupted interaction with its environment.

Biological systems, living systems, in their configuration, all have a common characteristic: they are built to try to survive.

All of us, belonging to the homo sapiens species, are no exception: any and every of our actions, visible or not visible, whether we know it or not, whether we accept it or not, respond to that aim.

Trying to improve the quality of working life, of daily life, responds to that aim.

Human Behavior Systemics, much more than other disciplines, in a more incisive and effective way, responds to that aim.
